Inventory System

The Inventory Application Package has facilities for registering inventory items and gives the user a complete control over the inventory. The functionality assures that the values and net changes in inventory can also be updated in the general ledger package if available. When posting the sales and purchases, the transactions are registered directly in the Inventory Items table. The possibility of defining an unlimited number of warehouse locations, allows one to manage inventories at various sites. The Item Groups functionality facilitates for managing inventory based on item groups in which the contents are registered in local currency units. This allows one to manage the inventory on the basis of cost and sales and to have an overview of inventories, purchases and sales of a group of items. Various functions ensure that the values and net changes in inventory can be updated in the general ledger module when available.
